The National Nuclear Security Administration monitor is the nuclear-security block of the Department of Energy, carried as its own view so the figures stay traceable to /energy. Everything below resolves to a public source; nothing is estimated.
How it reconciles
Reconciled to the dollar.The four appropriations — Federal Salaries & Expenses, Weapons Activities, Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation, and Naval Reactors — are summed in each fiscal column and checked against the published “Total, NNSA” from the DOE FY2027 Congressional Justification. Any gap beyond ±$1M independent-rounding throws the build; a benign ±$1M is flagged, never absorbed.
Prior year is Enacted. DOE Congressional Justifications present the completed prior year as FY2025 Enacted, not an obligated/actual figure — so the “FY25” column here is the FY2025 enacted appropriation, labeled as such.
One-time supplemental kept separate. The published table carries a WFTC / P.L. 119-21 (Working Families Tax Cut Act) supplemental of $3.885B — all to Weapons Activities, obligated mostly in FY2026. It is shown alongside the annual columns, not inside any of them, and is excluded from the reconciled subtotal — carried on its own line so the money is visible but never double-counted.
